The Greater East End District allocates 3% of annual assessment revenue toward workforce development projects. Proposals to invest these funds will be accepted through March 30, 2012.
The Greater East End Management District allocates 3% of annual assessment revenue toward workforce development projects. The District is accepting proposals through March 30, 2012 from qualified organizations that have programs or projects that provide job training and job placement. Criteria to be met:
- The program or project should have a two-year plan with a budget for workforce development that will serve East End workers and End End employers.
- The program or project should have a detailed two year budget with expense designated for administrative costs and true project costs.
- The program or project should bring additional leveraged resources back to the Greater East End Management District.
- The receiving organization of workforce development funds from the Greater East End Management District will provide an annual report on expenditures and results to the District Board of Directors for each of the two years that the funds are allocated to the receiving organization.
