METRO is committed to providing the right vehicle for the right community and is introducing a new, smaller, 27-foot bus tailored to meet the dynamic needs of patrons on 13 routes.The new buses have all the amenities of METRO’s 40-foot vehicles with header signs, interior pull cords, and audio/visual announcements. They are ADA accessible and seat 15 passengers. And, best of all the cost is $1.25 with a three hour transfer.The new service underlines METRO’s commitment to communities, plus it connects with other service, including METRORail. METRO will showcase the new 426 Swiftline bus service Tuesday, March 12, from 3 – 5 PM at its Southeast Transit Center (6000 Scottcrest).
