Recently, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced that the first public meeting for the Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study would be held at 5:30 P.M. on July 16th, 2020. Given the unique of the COVID-19 outbreak, along with their commitment to protecting public health during this national emergency, the TxDOT Houston District will be conducting this public meeting virtually in order to avoid in-person contact. The East End District will participate as stakeholders and provide community updates on our website and via email newsletter (sign up here).
In order to provide as accessible of an experience as they can, TxDot plans to display a pre-recorded presentation along with various PDF materials and an opportunity to take a survey and provide feedback. All of these meeting materials will be located on the PEL study project page or virtual meeting page (both linked below) and will be available from 5:30 P.M. on July 16th, 2020 to 11:59 P.M. on July 31st, 2020.
