The East End community and the East End Foundation celebrated the first anniversary of the East End Market on Sunday, April 10. Honoring community leaders Yolanda Black Navarro and Mary Medina, a ceremonial unveiling of newly installed brick pavers with East End elected officials commemorated the occasion.
Personalized bricks from the Make Your Mark! brick campaign have been installed in the walkway on the Esplanade at Navigation in the heart of the East End Cultural District. Proceeds from this campaign go directly to support cultural projects East End. Bricks can be purchased through the East End Foundation.
Thank you for being an invaluable partner in the East End Foundation’s mission to promote the rich socio-cultural history of the East End to area residents and beyond.
