Congratulations to artist Jesse Sifuentes and Eastwood Academy students for a spectacular new East End mural.

At a public dedication on April 11, Council Member James Rodriguez thanked Jesse Sifuentes, Eastwood Academy students and faculty, and the Clorox Company for their contribution to East End public art. The Clorox Company provided funds for the mural through a grant that links art and public education, enabling local students to participate in creating public art. This mural is the third in a series of tile murals at 6635 Harrisburg Boulevard, where Mr. Harry Simon’s long- standing retail store, Simon Menswear, has been in business for several generations. Thank you to Mr. Simon for allowing the public to enjoy these wonderful murals!
